Side Effects is concerned with the notion of Paradox and Transformation. Paradox as something that contradicts itself but can potentially also be true. Taking as a starting point Woody Allen's film Love and Death, the creation resulted in a chamber work imbued with intrigue, playfulness and vulnerability. Focusing on relationships, the piece is intertwined with fragility, darkness and humour.
